Modded Rules
The following rules are exclusive to the modded server.
Boulder's Gate City is a Staff-Led Community Project. This means it is different from other Community Projects within IMMC in that it has rules enforceable by Staff Action. This City Project was brought about to enable players to contribute to building and supporting a diverse and varied communal space, with the protection that players who are less active or have real-life commitments won't be overtaken by other players. We encourage inter-Borough cooperation in city-wide projects, and want to emphasise this area does not serve to act as a platform for launching 'wars' or forming 'diplomatic alliances' with other Boroughs, as they are not separate nations/states but elements of a metropolitan area all working together.
It is important that players know:
Rule 1
Players with Boroughs are not required to base or reside in them, and must simply contribute to their development and upkeep
Rule 2
Players are welcome to use others' core mods within their Borough, so long as they do not form a majority or substantial portion of that Borough
Rule 3
Players must stick to their respective themes within their Boroughs, and can only incorporate other themes with Staff permission. If the theme they wish to add belongs to another Borough, they must also gain consent from that Borough's Owner
Rule 4
Players can only sell (for profit) items/materials from core mods in the server if it is allocated to their Borough. This does not stop players from producing the items/materials from that mod themselves, or for the items/materials to be given out for free, pending they are not widely distributed
Rule 5
Boroughs can have their name, borders, core mods, or themes changed by request from the Borough Owner to Staff. Staff also reserve the right to unlock selling permissions of core mods if a Borough is unable to maintain their industry
Rule 6
Whilst not an additional rule to the server, we want to make explicitly clear that Borough's are considered claimed land of their respective Owner(s) and griefing remains strictly prohibited
